Head Trainer/Owner, Robert Lauber, began his dog training journey like many others have: he adopted a dog with a variety of behavioral impairments and seemingly unlimited energy. The neccessity for guidance was sudden, and Robert began working with a trainer in Denver, Colorado. Equipped with newfound tools and indelible enthusiasm for shaping behavior, dog training became a lifestyle for Robert, and his own method began taking shape. He has learned much about canine behavior in the academic context and through many hours of hands on work but, above all else, Robert values respect and fairness as the mainstay of good dog training.
Robert founded Canine Leaders LLC in honor of his dog, Monsieur Gustav, who taught him the value of humility, patience and a will to find meaning in the world of canine behavior.
